Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of KodeMail, a macOS application published by Kodeora ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using KodeMail you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

KodeMail is a native macOS client that wraps Gmail in a sandboxed WebKit view and adds Mac-native features such as menu bar access, keyboard shortcuts, multi-account support, and notifications. KodeMail is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC. Your use of Gmail inside KodeMail is subject to Google's own Terms of Service.

License

Subject to these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use KodeMail on Apple-branded devices that you own or control. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by applicable law.

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Standard EULA and Apple Media Services terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's refund policy.

Account and conduct

KodeMail does not create accounts of its own. You sign in with your existing Google account, and you are responsible for the security of that account and for complying with Google's terms. You agree not to use KodeMail to violate any applicable law, send unsolicited messages, infringe intellectual property, or interfere with others' use of the app.

Disclaimer of warranties

KodeMail is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all Mac configurations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kodeora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use KodeMail. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Third-party services

KodeMail accesses Gmail and may surface links and content from third parties. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or policies. You access them at your own risk.

Termination

You may stop using KodeMail at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of KodeMail after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or KodeMail shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
